This Preliminary Information Form has been prepared pursuant to Article 5 of the Regulation on Distance Contracts to inform the consumer before purchasing a car rental service with online payment through the website (aficar.net). By accepting this form you confirm that you received this information before the Distance Sales Contract was concluded.
1. Service Provider

2. Essential Characteristics of the Service
Car rental for a specific period. The vehicle class/sample model, transmission, fuel, rental period, delivery and return points and selected extras are stated in the reservation summary. AfiCar may allocate a vehicle of the same class "or similar". The price includes comprehensive and traffic insurance, 500 km per day (4,000 km per month), an HGS toll tag, 24/7 roadside assistance and VAT.
3. Price and Additional Charges
- The total price is shown in TRY including VAT in the reservation summary and consists of the daily rate × number of days (tiered discount by duration) + selected extras + delivery fee + night delivery (500 ₺) and young driver (age 21–24, Economy class only, 400 ₺/day) fees where applicable.
- The security deposit (pre-authorisation) is not included; 4,500–9,500 ₺ depending on the class is blocked on the credit card at handover and released upon undamaged return.
- Additional charges that may arise during the rental (excess mileage 5 ₺/km, missing fuel + 500 ₺ service fee, late return, HGS tolls, traffic fines, cleaning fee) are explained in the Rental Conditions.
4. Payment
Payment is taken by credit or debit card with 3D Secure verification through the iyzico payment infrastructure. Card details are not transmitted to AfiCar. Instalment options and any instalment charges are shown on the payment screen depending on the bank. Consumers may alternatively choose "Pay at handover".
5. Performance and Delivery
The reservation becomes final when the payment is completed and the reservation code is sent by email. The vehicle is handed over at the date, time and location in the reservation summary to a renter who meets the driver requirements (minimum age 21–27 and 1–5 years of licence depending on the class) and presents an ID, driving licence and a credit card in their own name.
6. Information on the Absence of a Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to Article 15(1)(g) of the Regulation on Distance Contracts, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for car rental services that must be performed on a specific date or within a specific period. Instead, the AfiCar Cancellation and Refund Policy applies: free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before handover; one day's rental fee is deducted for cancellations made less than 48 hours before; one day's rental fee is charged for a no-show. Refunds are instructed to the card used for payment within 14 days.
7. Complaints
Complaints and requests can be submitted via +90 530 849 14 14, WhatsApp or info@afinitem.com. Disputes are resolved by the Consumer Arbitration Committees within the monetary limits set by the Ministry of Trade and by the Consumer Courts above those limits.
8. Validity and Retention
The information in this form is confirmed in the reservation summary; the contract and this form are sent to the Buyer's email and retained by AfiCar for 3 years. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Notice (KVKK).
